The lifespan of Pawskinz depends on your dog's activity level, nail length, and terrain. This is a hybrid of a sock and light shoe, that will eventually wear & tear with use. They are designed for temporary, short-term solution for paw protection.
On the back of the package place your dog’s paw on the sizing also from side to side. Sizes: Small under 2”| Medium 2 - 2.75”|Large 2.75 – 3.5”| X-Large over 3.5”
Use the provided ring applicator.
1. Pre load the sock over the ring in a counter clockwise motion
2. Guide the paw into the circle applicator meeting the tip of the nail garage
3. Gently grab the tip of the paw with one hand and peel off the top part of the sock off of the applicator ring, with the other hand.
We recommend not walking your dog on ground temperatures exceeding 100°F. Pawskinz can be used for short periods on pavement up to 120°F.
Pawskinz offers protection from extremely hot and cold surfaces, rough terrain, and can be used for sore or injured paws. They provide a flexible, conforming fit UV/weather resistant, chemical resistant, abrasion resistant, thermally stable, and washable.
Pawskinz are ergonomically designed to fit the shape of your dog's paws and have interior ribbing to help keep them in place.
This is normal. It's a new sensation for your dog to have anything on its paws. Even though Pawskinz are made of a soft, jelly-like material, it will take a few minutes for your dog to adjust.
Pawskinz are a first-of-their-kind product, positioned between a sock and a rubber shoe. The material and ergonomic fit make them comfortable for dogs, while also offering protection and soothing relief from environmental elements.
All dogs can benefit from paw protection, but it depends on the individual dog. Some dogs are averse to having their paws touched. All dogs will likely walk differently initially due to the unfamiliar sensation, but they usually adapt quickly.

Pawskinz are designed for temporary, short-term paw protection and are not intended for extreme weather conditions such as snowstorms, blizzards, or fires.
Constant contact with pavement and rough surfaces can lead to torn or damaged paw pads, which is very painful for dogs. It's similar to humans walking constantly with cuts and sores on the bottoms of
their feet.
For temporary use during walks, light hikes, short periods on hot pavement or rough terrain, if your dog has a sore paw pad, or for traction on smooth surfaces.
Pawskinz need to be exposed to light before they can glow in the dark. For the best results, place them under direct sunlight or a bright light source for a few minutes before use.
Yes, they are. They are biodegradable and recyclable. Number of uses depends on the wear.

No, because these are a thermal socks that are chemical proof, water proof, they are not breathable and are not meant to be kept on for long periods of time. DO NOT KEEP THESE ON OVER NIGHT.

When you purchase a full kit you get an applicator bracelet and a bag. If you get 4 bracelets, you can preload the hybrid socks into the 4 applicators for ready to wear use.
