Born out of necessity to combat the harsh heat of the Arizona desert, PawSkinz provides essential paw protection. During summer, ground temperatures can soar up to 150 degrees. Despite avoiding walks during peak heat, my dog would still burn her paw pads just by going outside to relieve herself. As avid walkers and hikers, we faced the same issue during outdoor activities. I sought a product that mimicked a second layer of skin, offering comfort, an ergonomic fit, ease of application, and staying power. Unfortunately, such a product didn't exist.

After spending hundreds of dollars on various dog shoes, socks, and latex coverings, I could tell they were uncomfortable and ineffective for my dog. Imagine cramming paws with long nails into a winter mitten—awkward and unnatural. My dog despised wearing boots; they made her walk awkwardly, wouldn't stay on, and the latex socks tore after just a block. Neither the knitted dog socks nor the latex socks offered the extreme weather protection I needed.

In collaboration with two innovators from the largest athletic shoe companies in the world, we developed PawSkinz, a comfortable barrier that mimics a second layer of skin. PawSkinz is thin, stretchy, and easy to put on. The pinhole airways on the top of the paw protector ensure airflow to the paw and facilitate comfortable walking. The material protects against both heat and cold in extreme temperature conditions.

PawSkinz is more than just another bootie or sock. It is a true paw pad protector designed for outdoor enthusiasts, urban dwellers, senior dogs with medical conditions, working dogs, and fashion-conscious owners alike. Experience the difference with PawSkinz, and protect your dog's paws in any environment.
